Academic Education
Yeryüzü College, we have developed visual, auditory and verbal intelligence, and have high self-confidence; We aim to raise individuals who have adopted their social, cultural and spiritual values and who can express themselves easily in any environment. Academic education in our institution is given as a practice of life without falling outside of life.
Under the presidency of the academic coordinator, academic year planning, academic calendar, publication selection, in-service training are planned at the beginning of the academic year. In this direction, the teaching process is carried out in cooperation with the head of the branch and the branch committees of each level and branch. It is supported by in-service trainings throughout the year in order to ensure the continuous development of the training staff throughout the process.
Our education staff transfers the subjects with auxiliary resources based on the MEB curriculum, and is reinforced in an activity-based and student-centered manner. Student performance development is followed up with a question bank, leaf tests and assignments.
From reading culture to language education systems, branch courses to our skill workshops, calculations are always made on how to do it most efficiently.A dynamic structure that lives with the valuable ideas of our teachers and students, stakeholders and anyone who has set their heart on education and constantly renews itself, thus blending with our school culture.
Our secondary school students are ready to understand the world one step ahead of their peers from an early age, especially with special methods applied in English education.
In addition to the academic high school education given in the secondary education program, there is a graded university preparation program for our students and clubs and activities that will develop them in social, sports and artistic fields.
For our 8th, 11th and 12th grade students, which we call the exam group, field lessons with increased hours are given and one-to-one student follow-up, weekly question-solution follow-up and evaluation exams are held. Incomplete completion and study studies are carried out on the subjects that are determined to be missing by the students. With the studies, the deficiencies of the students are eliminated and it is aimed to better understand the next subject.
An effective cooperation is ensured with our parents at every stage of education and training practices. A 'parent acquaintance and information meeting' is held at the beginning of the year. Afterwards, parent calls, information by message and one-on-one appointments are made throughout the year. With the k12 system used by our institution, parents are informed about their students. By holding one-to-one parent meetings in the middle of the semester, the parts that we will individually guide and support are determined by evaluating the situation of our student with his/her family before the end of the year.
