EDUCATİON ON YERYÜZÜ

As Özel Yeryüzü Ortaokulu, we aim to educate students as successful and happy individuals throughout their lives by equipping them with the knowledge, skills and values required by the age and the future in order to obtain the highest benefit from education.. In our school, our students actively participate in the lesson, develop themselves, gain different perspectives, discover their interests and talents, share their ideas easily, research and question a training is given. BIn this process, our children's participation in the lesson is ensured by increasing their thinking skills and interest in lessons in an environment where they can learn with pleasure.



YERYÜZÜ DIFFERENCE IN ACADEMIC SUCCESS



We are aware of the value of the potential that each child carries within yourself. In our school, besides academic education, artistic and sportive activities, foreign language, psychological development, education intertwined with technology are given importance. In this way, our children are supported to reveal their interests and talents.

At the beginning of each lesson and unit, students' pre-learning and prior knowledge are checked and their learning deficiencies are determined. In order for full learning to take place, learning risks are determined, barriers to new learning are removed and incomplete learning is completed.

Increased weekly lesson and study programs are applied at all grade levels in order to enable children in secondary school to gain regular study habits and to enable them to see the deficiencies in the subject. Our students are guided by our guidance teachers in order to make up for their deficiencies, solve their problems and support their talents by following up each student separately. In order for the education and training programs to be applied in daily life, they are provided to take part in field trip projects and various laboratory activities where they can conduct experiments, observations, examinations, research.



 

PROCESS OF EDUCATİON



Yeryüzü College supports each child in line with their own developmental process and pace. Our understanding of effective guidance removes all obstacles so that our students can realize their potential at the highest level.

Beginning from the 5th grade, our students are given practice exams in order to get used to the test technique. Thus, preparations are made for the High School Entrance Exams. As a result of individual evaluations, additional lessons are given with group studies. Students participating in the weekend LGS course program in 7th and 8th grades are subject to more than 40 trial exams.

By following the latest technologies in education, it is aimed to provide maximum benefit with smart boards and online content. With the Yeryüzü education system, our students have hundreds of video lectures, practice exams, and subject re-tests.

In order for each of our students to have the habit of reading, it is aimed to read the books that are determined separately for each grade level until the end of the year. While the world of ideas is enriched with many activities such as library trips, book fair trips, book exams and family book reading projects, debates and book analysis studies are carried out on the subject of good addressing.

Success follow-up of each student's progress is followed by the classroom guidance / counselor teachers. Class participation, homework performance and test results are analyzed with the student and shared with the parents. Factors that hinder success are identified and measures are taken to improve it.



 



Course topics are conveyed to our students with lectures and experiments, their retention is increased by watching interactive videos, and exams are prepared on the learned subject with video of solved questions.

By increasing our students' participation, curiosity, and manual dexterity, assessment and evaluation are carried out with exams. Finally, with the detailed reporting system, the parts where our students are missing, the places that are not understood and the parts that need to be supported are determined. According to the results of the reporting system, group studies, one-to-one studies or additional lessons are applied.

Students who are preparing for the High School Entrance Exam are given practice exams at regular intervals. At the end of the exam, studies are arranged for the missing sections and additional lessons and topics are reinforced. Trips and seminars are organized in order to increase the motivation of our students who are preparing for the exams. In this way, students prepare for the exam without breaking away from social life.

Reading hours and library readings are organized in our school. By holding book exams at certain intervals, our students are both encouraged to read books and tested what they have learned. At the same time, the curiosity and interest of our students is increased through book analysis conversations and book fair trips in our school.

In addition, with the project "We read as a family," implemented in our school, our students are enabled to progress not only at school but also in their own lives by taking their families as an example.



 

GUIDANCE WORKS


In this period when children's feelings change and they are in the process of rebuilding their identities, the support of a teacher who understands and loves them is very important. Our guidance teachers follow the academic status of the children as well as their psychological state, and in this process, each student is individually guided and a study program is prepared for them.

With the Yeryüzü Education System, our students can repeat the video lessons of their teachers at home, solve the achievement tests, follow the solutions of the questions that they could not do in the trial exams, and our guidance service can see the results of the student's studies in the Yeryüzü education system, upon the request of our parents.

Written and Trial results are processed into the k12 system, and report cards with subject analysis are distributed to students after the trial. Thanks to the report cards distributed, the students see the missing areas and the places that need support. Students who need academic support are determined by the guidance teachers and individual/group study supplements are made on the subjects that need support.



SPIRITUAL VALUES EDUCATION


Within the scope of spiritual values ​​education, our students are encouraged to pray with our teachers, who are role models for our students, and they are helped to apply the sunnahs to their lives. During this period, many different questions are stuck in the minds of children. It is ensured that they find answers to the questions that are in their minds with the most accurate methods from the right sources, suitable for their level. Our biggest goal in this period is to guide the child's life in such a way that he can distinguish the right and wrong of the age he is in.

With the "Come on, children to the mosque project", we meet at the mosque for Friday Prayer, with the permission of their parents, in order to build bridges between our mosques and the youth, which we think are missing.
